Standard Guidelines for Packaging Personal Title Packages

1. Packaging Materials

Boxes: Use new, high-quality boxes, preferably corrugated cardboard. Avoid reusing old boxes as they may have lost their structural integrity.
Filler: Use filler materials such as air bubbles, shredded paper, polystyrene foam, or similar to ensure that items do not move inside the box.
Adhesive Tape: Use strong, high-quality adhesive tape to seal the box. It is recommended to use packaging tape at least 48 mm wide.
Additional Protection: For fragile items, wrap them individually in padded material and ensure they do not touch the box walls or each other.

2. Preparing the Package

Loading the Box: Place the heaviest items at the bottom and the lighter ones at the top.
Weight Distribution: Distribute the weight evenly within the box to avoid imbalances.
Empty Space: Fill all empty spaces with filler material to prevent movement during transportation.
Secure Closure: Seal all flaps and edges of the box with adhesive tape, applying at least three strips of tape on both the top and bottom.

3. Labeling

Shipping Address: Ensure that the shipping address is clearly written and fully visible. Include the recipient's full name, complete address, city, state/province, postal code, and country.
Additional Labels: If the contents are fragile, place "Fragile" labels on multiple sides of the box. If the package contains liquids, indicate "This side up" to prevent spills.
Contact Information: Include a card with the contact information of both the sender and the recipient inside the package, in case the external labels are damaged.

4. Content and Declaration

Accuracy: Provide an accurate and detailed description of the package contents on the customs declaration. Avoid vague descriptions such as "gifts," "accessories," or "daily necessities."
Value: Declare the actual value of the items to properly ensure the package and comply with customs regulations.

5. Prohibitions and Restrictions

Prohibited Items: Do not ship prohibited items such as hazardous materials, weapons, drugs, etc. Refer to our list of prohibited items before preparing your package.
Restrictions: Some countries have specific restrictions on certain items. Be sure to review the destination country's regulations to avoid customs issues.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Compliance: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the package is properly packed and complies with all mentioned guidelines.
Insurance: It is recommended to insure the package to cover the full value of the items in case of loss or damage during transportation.
Social Security Number (SSN): In some cases, providing a Social Security Number (SSN) may be required as part of the import process. This SSN must be provided by the customer and not by our company.
